Heroes’ Square

One of Budapest’s most important landmarks, built for the Millennium celebrations.

Archangel Gabriel stands atop the central column, while statues of the seven Hungarian chieftains surround the monument. The square is framed by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hall of Art, serving as the gateway to City Park.
